Management Responsibilities
Management at Man with Van Holland Park is responsible for implementing this policy and ensuring that suitable arrangements are in place to protect the health, safety and welfare of employees and others. Managers will ensure that vehicles, lifting equipment and tools used in our removal work are maintained in a safe condition and are suitable for the tasks to be undertaken. They will also ensure that staff receive appropriate training in safe driving, manual handling, use of equipment and emergency procedures.
Employee Responsibilities
All employees and workers engaged by Man with Van Holland Park have a duty to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions. They must follow all health and safety instructions, use equipment correctly and cooperate fully with management in the implementation of this policy.
Employees must report any hazards, defects, near misses, accidents or incidents to management as soon as possible so that corrective action can be taken.
